The chart above is not to scale. It is to
be used as a comparison chart, and the millimeter measurements are
approximate, as they will vary depending on the cut grade.

Select Cut Grade
Cut refers to the angles and proportions,
which are created when a craftsman transforms a rough diamond
into a breathtaking gem. A diamond has mirror-like facets
that allow light to enter it, reflect from one facet to
another, become refracted and exit in a rainbow of colors,
also known as brilliance. Diamonds that are cut too deep
or too shallow will reflect the light through the sides
or the bottom and result in a less brilliant diamond.

The color grading system for diamonds uses the
letters of the alphabet from D through Z. D is the most colorless
and therefore is the most valuable. Z is the least colorless and
therfore is the least valuable. The color scale below is NOT AN
EXACT MATCH, it is intended for comparison purposes only.
5.
Select Clarity Grade
When
light enters a diamond is reflected and refracted out. If
there is anything in the way (an inclusion), a portion of
light will be lost. The clarity of a diamond is determined
by how many inclusions are visible through 10x magnification.
A flawless diamond is very rare, thus the fewer the inclusions,
the more valuable a diamond is.The diagram is for comparison
purposes only. Please select your clarity grade.
